Roatan, the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras, is a world class premier diving destination. Wall diving in Roatan is renowned with walls as shallow as ten feet and increasing in depth to over several hundred feet. Visibility is usually about 100 feet and water temperatures are normally between 80 and 90 degrees.

Snorkelers and shore divers will both enjoy our reef, which is only a few minutes out from shore. The variety of marine life will fascinate you. Boat divers will enjoy a larger variety of what Roatan has to offer, including wreck diving of old vessels. We even have a DC-3 which was sunk several years ago and is fun to explore. We offer non-diving vacation rentals, SCUBA diving packages and Scuba Instruction for your convenience.

GENERAL INFORMATION


Oak Bay Resort is a small resort located in the Oak Ridge area of Roatan. Some grocery stores and restaurants are located in Oak Ridge. Safety is always number one with us and on training dives or pleasure dives we will never take divers below 110 feet. Certified divers wishing to go deeper may always do so at their own risk. Drinking of any alcoholic beverage shall only be done when you have finished your dive day.

NO CHILDREN ALLOWED, 16 YEARS OLD IS THE MINIMUM AGE AT OUR RESORT.

LEARN TO SCUBA DIVE PROGRAM

  • open water scuba certification course,

2-3 people $500 per person plus tax
4 or more $475 per person plus tax
add a 2 tank boat dive for $50 each person (minimum 2 divers)
add a extra night, meals and a 2 tank boat dive for $70 each (minimum 2 divers)

 

EXPERIENCED DIVER PROGRAM FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS

Includes:

  • 7 nights room,
  • all meals,
  • 12 boat dives,
  • unlimited shore dives,
  • airport transfers with 2 or more.

 

1 person $585 per person plus tax
2-3 people $510 per person plus tax
4-5 people $485 per person plus tax
6 or more $460 per person plus tax
add additional nights, with meals and a 2 tank boat dive for $70 each person (minimum 2 people)

 


 

Scuba Equipment Rental if needed is $85 per week each person,
dive lights if needed are $5 per light for 2 dives,
2 required on night dives
Glow sticks are $3.00 each also required on night dives..

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. WE DO NOT TAKE WALKIN'S...

CRUISE SHIP DAY DIVERS

For groups of 6 to 8 divers only.
A 2 tank boat dive with lunch and ground transfers is $75 per person and only available when space is available that day..
If you need scuba rental equipment then add $20 each diver.

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL TRAINING

Professional training to the Assistant Instructor level can be done.. We offer this in two ways.. You pay as a regular guest or you pay less and work off some of your fees... If interested let us know your current level of training and how many dives you have and what your are interested in as a goal. We can then quote you a price for your needs..
